You watch a lot of football, but do you really know it? Do you know the officials' hand signals? Do you know which referee is which? Real fans won't have any trouble with this quiz. The rest of you will be in the dark if the stadium PA system cuts out or if the bar refuses to turn up the volume on your crappy Niners-Browns game.

10/15, and I'm pretty proud of that. Some of the officials' names tripped me up, and I screwed up a few of the other ones.
13/15. Apparently I am awesome...who knew?
12/15. I got tricked up by the inadvertent whistle, one of the other difficult ones, and recognizing the guy in his "street clothes." I like the Carl Winslow reference J-Red. And the FedEx Field reference.
And did the Redskins really just draft Colt Brennan with Erin Henderson and Mike Hart still on the board? Wow.
Yes, but they're totally confident in Jason Campbell. Totally.
13/15. I need to brush on my illegal touching details, and Jeff Triplette just isn't cool enough to make the list of refs I know.
Once again, I'm at the way bottom.
9/15
I had 8/15. I know Ed Hocholi (sp?) but how do you guys know the other refs? I have too much other unimportant sports facts filling my mind to make room for ref's names or who made what call.
I know the other refs because they're the only guys on the field who talk every game. After hundreds of games, you just kind of absorb it.
Of course, I don't see the west coast crews as often.
7/15. A few of my first thoughts were right, but I went with my second thoughts on those questions. I should have went with my gut. Oh well. But I'm happy because I got most of the Refs names right, and the illegal shift (which said like 43% had gotten it right)
11... The Clash made it all worth it, though.
