I said that the "superseding indictment" announced by the Feds July 26th indicated that a co-defendant had flipped, and that we would know about it by the end of next week. Well, we'll know about it on Monday. The man has flipped and the plea will be entered soon. The other two co-defendants are probably lining up to be right behind him.

ESPN TV now reporting that Vick and the co-defendant who flipped (Tony Taylor is his name, feel free to forget that) had a falling out three years ago. Taylor is supposedly the man who scouted properties and recommended the Surry County, VA, property for Vick's dogfighting operations.
Problem is that Taylor's testimony has less impact than a Jamie Moyer fastball to the thigh. Since he had a falling out with Vick, he has a reason to bury Vick to save his own hide. This doesn't necessarily bolster the Feds case much, but it definitely opens the floodgates for the other two defendants to flip.
Vick is in some serious trouble. I've seen enough trials where co-defendant testimony was enough to show guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, but not enough to establish bias or motive on behalf of the co-defendant against the lead defendant in the eyes of the jury. Not to mention the fact that this tends to show that Vick really was heavily involved and may be the lead actor here as opposed to a conspirator.
