I really expected this list to make me mad. I hadn't realized how early most of the bowl sponsoring started. The only two "traditional" bowl games that have totally lost their names are the Tangerine/Citrus bowl and the Peach bowl.
Bring back the Gater, Citrus, Cotton and Peach Bowl. This is getting ridiculous.
Brien, as I was constructing it I was surprised too. It turns out bowl games just pop into and out of existence all the time. The Orange Bowl has been consistently sponsored by FedEx for longer than I knew what FedEx was.
