So I, unlike my fellow poster, love the NFL Draft. I like the analysis. I think it's a great way to kill an afternoon. There's drama, there's fan reaction, and every now and again, you get this:
Local News Footage of Dolphins fans in shock and horror at the Ted Ginn pick at their draft day party.
The famous ESPN montage that I posted last year that will have you laughing every time with the history of the Jets' draft blunders such as passing up on Dan Marino for Ken O'Brien and passing up on Warren Sapp for Kyle Brady. And, of course, the Jets' fans reactions.

As a Lions fan the draft is our Super Bowl. Its just too bad that it is a Super Bowl blowout. It is like Super Bowl week with all the hype leading up to it only to get blown out once we get there.
That Jet's montage will NEVER get old.
As a Redskins fan, I have forgotten what a draft pick is. Aren't they those things you package up and send off to other teams?
For the Redskins, draft picks are like vouchers. You redeem them for the overhyped talent of other teams.
I love the draft because it highlights the differences between the well run organizations and the poorly well organizations. In a league that tries to funnel all teams towards 8-8, the draft makes it easy to understand why some teams tend towards 4 wins and some teams (Pittsburgh, Indy, New England) tend towards 12 wins.
As a Charger fan, this thing is on cruise control. A.J. Smith has eliminated much of the drama and angst that we experienced at the end of the Beathard regime. Michael Ricks?
Yes, the Jets montage' will live in infamy. Timeless stuff.
Of course, he also eliminated a coaching staff and replaced it with Norv Turner v3.0.
J-Red, I'm still trying to sort through all madness that has ocurred after that playoff loss to the Pats some 16 months ago.
I will only give credit to Turner (and D-Con, Crennel) for finally letting the Chargers do what they do best: getting after the quarterback on defense and running the ball early and often to set-up play-action downfield... something I thought Turner knew all about being an Ernie Zampese disciple and experiencing success with that formula in Dallas.
Jury's still out as far as I'm concerned.
